Brad Taylor, Trenton Thunder GSWCF Executive Director |
Trenton Thunder General Manager Brad Taylor, 38, joined the Thunder Front Office in 2000 as Director of Business Operations and was promoted to Assistant General Manager the next year. He has spent the last five seasons as AGM where he has helped supervise the sales, marketing and promotional efforts of the team. He has also handled the baseball operations for the Thunder as they relate to the New York Yankees.
In Taylor’s seven years with the Thunder he has helped the club receive national recognition with two awards from Minor League Baseball. Following the 2005 season, the Thunder were named the Johnson President’s Trophy Winner, recognizing the “Complete Baseball Franchise” of the 160 teams in affiliated baseball. The Thunder also won the Larry MacPhail Trophy for Outstanding Club Promotion in 2003.
Taylor’s contributions to the local community have included things such as being an advisory board member for the Trenton Waterfront 5K for Habitat For Humanity, a former advisory board member for the Salvation Army and a participant in the Minding Our Business program that teaches area middle school students how to start their own businesses. |

| Geoff Brown, Lakewood BlueClaws |

The Lakewood BlueClaws, class-A affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies, General Manager Geoff Brown has guided the BlueClaws to some of the highest drawing seasons in New Jersey professional baseball and South Atlantic League history
While the BlueClaws perform well at the gate, Geoff and his staff have worked hard to make sure the team is an important part of the community. Lakewood was part of countless community partnerships over the seasons giving away thousands of dollars in goods and services to local charities.
Geoff currently serves on the Board of Directors of the United Way of Ocean County and the Lakewood Chamber of Commerce. He was recognized by the New Jersey Sportswriters Association as the state’s Minor League General Manager of the Year for 2001, and in 2002 the team won a Fleet Bank Small Business Award, and the team was featured in its national print, radio and television ad campaign. |

| Bill began working with the Thunder Public Relations Department prior to the 2001 season. Bill helps oversee the Thunder’s community involvement and works closely with the media that cover the team. He also serves as the webmaster for www.trentonthunder.com and for www.grandslamwecare.org. Prior to coming to Trenton, he worked for the Eastern League President’s office in Portland, ME. Bill graduated from the University of New Hampshire and currently lives in Langhorne, PA. |

| Jim DeAngelis, Lakewood BlueClaws Representative |

Lakewood BlueClaws Community Relations Director Jim DeAngelis was presented with the South Atlantic League’s “Community Relations Director of the Year” award following the 2006 season.
This honor was awarded to DeAngelis in back-to-back seasons. The Seaside Park resident has been with the BlueClaws since the team’s inception in 2000 and has led the club’s community relations department since the fall of 2003.
He previously worked three years with the Philadelphia Phillies and began his career with the New Jersey Cardinals of the NY-Penn League. Jim is a graduate of Drew University and The Peddie School in Hightstown. |
